Why Dressage?
My first clinic with Rosemary Springer inspired me, and my jumping horse had a heart murmur and showed talent in dressage.
I look forward to most in my dressage day...
Progress!! Solving problems and feeling something special.
If I wasn't a dressage rider I'd be...
A rock star!!
Or an Equine Veterinary Surgeon. I find the science fascinating and it might save some vet bills!
If I could train with anyone in the world it would be...
Maybe Isabell Werth, I think she is brilliant on any horse and enhances the horses natural beauty and paces.
My most proud dressage moment was...
1. Winning on riding my first Grand Prix
2. Winning Advanced Tournament at the Sydney CDI on Weltklasse
My inspiration...
Rosemary Springer (Germany), she inspired me with her great presence and elegance on a horse.
If I could have any horse in the world it would be...
Salinero.
The most memorable horse I have worked with...
Weltklasse, such a proud and noble horse with great power and presence. My soulmate!
The most important thing I've learnt is...
Always ride primarily because you are passionate about the horses no matter how competitive you want to be.
The most important part of my horses routine is...
Coming back from work to stable in good mental and physical condition, happy I hope.
I feed my horses...
Easi Results, white chaff, lucerne and pasture hay, electrolytes, oil, molasses mash.
A day in my life is...
Chaos! Never boring. A mix of book work and bill paying, and cappucino and breakfast at the local bakery to stay sane! Then non stop horses - riding, breeding etc. At the end of the day - good food and wine.
My five year plan is...
Improve my training, aim to score 70% in Grand Prix and work for team selection. I think Kentucky would be amazing!
My motto is...
Never give up. Don't put limitations on yourself or allow others to do so.

The privilege of training a young horse can be likened to the artist with a blank canvas, it all begins with only brush strokes until an image begins to appear.

Motivation often sounds like a lot of pressure - "I must" or "I should", but really it is about you creating a mindset of "I really want" or "I get to".

When we hope for change or improvement coming from something (or someone) external to us, we set ourselves up for frustration and failure.
